Cost and insurance

Do you take my insurance?

Monarch is an out-of-network, direct-pay practice, so every session is a full hour built around your goals, not around an insurance rule. You can pay with HSA or FSA. You can also send your receipt to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

How much is a session?

Dr. Kiley goes over pricing on your free 15-minute call. HSA and FSA cards accepted.

Can I bill my insurance for reimbursement?

Yes. After your visit, we give you a superbill that you can send to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan. It is easier than it sounds, and we walk you through it.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. Physical therapy is an eligible expense under most HSA and FSA plans. You can use your card when you pay.

Your visit

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. North Carolina allows direct access to physical therapy. You can book your free 15-minute call today.

What happens at my first visit?

A full 60 minutes, one-on-one. We go through your injury and training history, then a full movement, mobility, and strength exam. You leave with a plan and exercises to start right away.

Do I have to be in pain to come in?

No. Many athletes come in for maintenance and injury prevention.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the injury and on your goals. After your first session, you have a clear picture of what is going on and a realistic timeline. Most athletes come weekly or every two weeks. The goal is always to get you independent as fast as possible.

What should I wear?

Dress like you are headed to the gym. For a lower-body problem, bring shorts. For a shoulder or neck problem, wear a top that gives access to your shoulder blade. Comfort is the only requirement.

Where should I park?

Pull up to building 9301 and park in the lot. The front door is on the corner, and our name is on the window.
